Edith Cowan University Sri Lanka and Synergy Health Tech (Pvt) Ltd officially signed a Placement Agreement on 8 June 2026, marking the beginning of a valuable partnership that will enhance student learning and industry engagement.
This collaboration is the newest addition to our network of placement organizations supporting the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) unit of the Bachelor of Biomedical Science program.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Wanshika Dilshani, Director/CEO and Mr. Uvindu Dhananjaya, Senior Scientific Officer of Synergy Health Tech. Representing ECU Sri Lanka were Matt Stanton, Acting General Manager; Dr. Sajani Dias, Dean of Academic Programs; Ms. Supeshala Kothalawala, Program Convenor of Bachelor of Biomedical Science; Ms. Nishanthi Wegodapola, Assistant Manager – Learning and Support; and Ms. Vinuji Karunaratne, WIL and Careers Coordinator.
