ECU Motor Show 2025/ Inter Uni Karting Slalom: A Premium Motorsport Extravaganza
The ECU Motor Show 2025 was a landmark event, setting a new benchmark in student-led motorsport culture. With three thrilling segments: Motor Show, Inter-University Karting Slalom, and a high-energy Digital Racing Gaming Area, the event brought together over 70 drivers and hundreds of spectators from top universities including UCL, UTS, ACBT Colombo and Kandy, and ECC Kandy.
Showcasing ECU’s signature flair for premium, quality experiences, our students displayed exclusive, high-performance vehicles that turned heads throughout the day. The specially designed karting slalom track kept the adrenaline flowing, promoting ECU’s growing motorsport culture. After intense competition, ECU’s own karting team emerged victorious, with Kelmin Jung securing the “Fastest of the Day” title.
Adding to the thrill was a brand-new segment, a roaring car parade led by ECU students featuring fast, loud, and rare vehicles that electrified the university grounds. The digital racing hub, meanwhile, buzzed with competitive energy, drawing in tech-savvy enthusiasts from all corners.
As the first of its kind among all universities, the ECU Motor Show was more than an event, it was a celebration of youth, innovation, and premium quality. This is what sets ECU apart. This is the culture. This is how we do it, loud, proud and the ECU way.
