ECU Sri Lanka recently hosted ECU Parent Connect, a special Parents’ Orientation Session held on Saturday, 21 February 2026.

The session featured Professor Paul Haskell-Dowland (Associate Dean – International & Strategic Partnerships), David Matthews (Pro Vice-Chancellor – Sri Lanka), Professor Helen Klaebe (General Manager), and Dr Sajani Dias (Dean of Academic Programs), who engaged with parents in an informative and interactive discussion.

Parents were provided valuable insights into the ECU learning environment, academic expectations, global pathways, and comprehensive student support systems available at ECU Sri Lanka.

The session also highlighted ECU’s commitment to maintaining Australian university standards while delivering a high-quality academic experience locally.

ECU Parent Connect created a meaningful platform for engagement, recognising the important role parents play in supporting their children’s academic success and future aspirations.

The event was supported by Madawa Senevirathna, Hansila Sudasinghe, Nisal Mandira Thalpawila Kankanamge, Jethendri Perera, and Kavindi Tharika, who assisted in facilitating the programme.
