All Island Public Speaking Contest and Workshop targeting the school students, an initiative by the Rotaract Club of Edith Cowan University chaired by Rotaractors Kavinaya, Saif, Sharafa and Kanishkar
We had 6 phases of this project as follows,
Phase 01 – Western Province – Public Speaking Contest and Workshop
Phase 02 – Central Province – Public Speaking Contest and Workshop
Phase 03 – Northern Province – Public Speaking Contest and Workshop
Phase 04 – All Island – Public Speaking Contest and Workshop
The ones who were top 3 from each of the above contests were promoted to Semi Finals
Phase 05 – Semi Finals
The top 6 from the Semi Finals had been promoted to Grand Finale
Phase 06 – Finals
All of these phases were conducted in the Toastmasters International standard, the speakers for each of the workshop and the Chief Judges for each of the contest were Toastmasters who excelled at their skills
In total this project has been able to successfully give direct exposure to 1144 school students
