The highly anticipated ECU Avurudu Sarong Sajje created an energetic atmosphere with great music, nonstop dancing, and vibrant celebrations, making it a memorable night for everyone in attendance. ECU students came together to celebrate Avurudu in style, showcasing the unique and lively spirit that defines the ECU community.
Adding glamour and excitement to the event, many talented and confident students participated in the ECU Avurudu Kumari & Kumara 2026 selection rounds. Contestants lit up the stage with their charm, personality, confidence, and festive energy, making the competition a standout highlight of the celebration. ECU Sri Lanka extended its appreciation to all the participants for contributing to the success and excitement of the event.
The ECU Avurudu Games further brought students together through traditional games, laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable moments shared among friends. The celebration created a vibrant environment filled with positivity, cultural appreciation, and strong community spirit.
A special highlight of the evening was the crowning of the ECU Avurudu Kumariya 2026 and ECU Avurudu Kumara 2026. Sanjali Oshara was crowned ECU Avurudu Kumariya 2026, while Pramuditha Dulaksha was crowned ECU Avurudu Kumara 2026. With confidence, charm, and outstanding stage presence, both winners truly embodied the spirit of Avurudu and became memorable faces of this year’s celebration.
