Campus-managed accommodations at ECU Sri Lanka campus offer students a secure, convenient, and community-focused living environment. These properties are strategically located allowing students to enjoy a balanced lifestyle that supports academic success and social engagement.

The most common accommodation type will be a shared apartment, which means that you will be living in an apartment with other students, with an individual room furnished with a bed, desk and a wardrobe as a minimum. The kitchen and sitting areas will be shared and furnished.

Each facility is equipped with modern amenities, including high-speed internet and 24/7 security, ensuring a comfortable and safe living experience. Located throughout the city, these rentals range from individual rooms in shared houses which can include homestays to entire apartments, catering to varying budgets and lifestyle needs. These spaces could be either furnished or unfurnished. Rental prices are usually influenced by factors such as accommodation standards, amenities, location convenience, and security levels.

You can choose a rental which will provide the opportunity to live in diverse neighborhoods, often near local amenities, cultural hotspots, and public transportation. This living arrangement allows students to immerse themselves in the broader community while enjoying the freedom to create a unique living space. Whether seeking solitude or a dynamic shared environment, private rentals provide a versatile option for students looking to balance academic commitments with personal exploration.

You are usually required to sign an agreement with the rental agent, to finalise rental and deposit fees. The cost could include a refundable deposit and could include an agent commission, along with the monthly rent and utility expenses.

Airport Pick-up

ECU Sri Lanka Campus offers a complimentary airport pickup service for all students arriving at Bandaranaike International Airport. This service provides transportation directly to your designated accommodation and is available exclusively for your initial arrival in Sri Lanka.
