The ECU Sri Lanka School of Business and Law conducted another successful session under its Career Launchpad initiative, aimed at strengthening the connection between academic learning and industry practice.
The session featured Ms. Cheranga Weerawardana, Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding at Hemas Consumer Brands, who delivered an engaging presentation on key topics including soft skills for career development, effective job search strategies, job application processes, interview techniques, and an introduction to Work Integrated Learning (WIL).
Following her presentation, Ms. Dilushi Warunika led a hands-on mock interview workshop that provided students with realistic interview scenarios, constructive feedback, and confidence-building opportunities.
The initiative forms a core component of ECU Sri Lanka’s Bachelor of Commerce program, reflecting the university’s ongoing commitment to producing graduates who are both academically proficient and professionally prepared for the demands of today’s dynamic business landscape.
