We are delighted to share that our student team “root@ECU:~” proudly represented ECU Sri Lanka at the Capture The Flag (CTF) competition during CodeFest 2025, hosted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology.
Competing among 48 university teams from across Sri Lanka, our students advanced to the top 23 finalists and went on to secure 2nd place overall in the national-level challenge.
The competition tested participants on problem-solving, cybersecurity knowledge, and practical technical expertise. Achieving this recognition highlights the talent, commitment, and innovative thinking of our students and reflects the high-quality education and training they receive at ECU Sri Lanka.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the team for bringing pride to ECU Sri Lanka and setting a benchmark for future participants.
