The AmCham BootCamp 2026 Internship Program brought together five outstanding students of Edith Cowan University Sri Lanka, Charith Mendis, Eshan Cuttilan, Treshiya Fernando, Natasha Fernando, and Miheesha Alwis for a transformative journey through Sri Lanka’s corporate landscape from July 7 to September 3.
The program delivered leading corporate placements, embedding students directly within top-tier organizations across Sri Lanka for critical hands-on industry experience; executive mentorship, pairing each intern 1-on-1 with senior corporate leaders to build executive presence, strategic thinking, and professional resilience; immersive field visits to industry giants including Coca-Cola Beverages, Microsoft, Bank of Ceylon, HSBC, the US Embassy, JAT, and the Colombo West International Terminal (CWIT); and classroom masterclasses covering essential corporate competencies, facilitated by knowledge partner Luminary Learning Solutions.
The program was organized by AmCham Sri Lanka (American Chamber of Commerce) in partnership with the US Embassy Sri Lanka, in collaboration with HSBC, with Sysco Labs as strategic partner and Luminary Learning Solutions as knowledge partner.
