As part of the Design Thinking unit of the Bachelor of Design programme at ECU Sri Lanka, our students explored an industry project in collaboration with MAS Holdings, focusing on the challenge: How might we make digital fashion easier to discover, understand and reuse while improving productivity?
Following an introductory session on digital fashion by Mr Sudhara Suneth, Digital Product Technologist (Creative 3D) at MAS Holdings, our students recently visited MAS Silueta for an engaging, hands-on learning experience.
During the visit, students participated in an interactive session with the Design Team, gaining valuable insights into the organisation’s design processes, industry practices, and approaches to innovation. They also presented their ideas as part of an activity designed to encourage creative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving.
A heartfelt thank you to the HR Team and Design Team at MAS Silueta for their warm welcome, guidance, and support in making this visit a success. This experience provided our students with valuable industry exposure and enriched their classroom learning!
