As part of the Service and System Design course, our students are working on a project with By Unity Mission Trust for Her Progress Our Prosperity, a long-term national initiative focused on supporting and safeguarding women and girls across Sri Lanka.
The project challenges students to explore how service and system design can contribute to healthier, more open and safer relationships with money, communities and technology.
To strengthen their understanding, students engaged with expert perspectives from Ms Lakmali Hapuarachchi, Finance Director at Litro Gas Lanka Limited and Litro Gas Terminal Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, who shared insights on the financial and economic aspects of the project, and Ms Sunali Fernando, Lecturer and Program Convenor of Creative Humanities at Edith Cowan University Sri Lanka Campus, who explored domestic and public safety.
