On 4 September, our Bachelor of Communication students studying Media Content Strategy visited the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau to gain an understanding of its media and communication strategies and how these contribute to the development of Sri Lanka’s tourism industry.
Students participated in an interactive session with Mr Chamila Jayarathna, Deputy Managing Director of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, gaining valuable insights into the strategic decisions behind promoting Sri Lanka as a tourism destination.
An excellent opportunity for students to connect their academic learning with real-world communication and public-sector practices.
Thank you to Mr Chamila Jayarathna and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau for welcoming our students and sharing their expertise!
